Divorce and Remarriage For Benny Hinn and Suzanne Harthern

… Benny Hinn and Paula White did have an affair and that he had violated the morality clause in his contract with the company…

Televangelist and ‘Miracle Crusader’ Benny Hinn, called it “…a miracle of God’s grace,” with ‘it’ being his widely attended remarriage to his ex-wife Suzanne in 2013, in a two hour long traditional marriage ceremony.

Benny Hinn married Suzanne Harthern first, in 1979 and have four children; daughters, Jessica, Natasha and Jessica and son, Joshua.

Suzanne filed for divorce in 2010, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’; the couple had been living separately for nearly four years till the filing. Later that same year news reports and an alleged photograph of Benny Hinn and Paula White holding hands, came out. Though, Benny admitted to a friendship between the two, both denied the alleged affair. In 2011, contrary to Benny’s claims of ‘no infidelity’, he was sued by the Christian publishing house Strang Communications that asserted that Benny Hinn and Paula White did have an affair and that he had violated the morality clause in his contract with the company.

Two reasons that Benny Hinn set out for his estrangement and divorce from his wife, Suzanne was that he had become too involved in his ministry work and had not paid enough attention to his wife and family, and the second reason he gave was of Suzanne’s dependency on prescription drugs and anti-depressants for nearly fifteen years and her erratic behavior that ensued, as a result. He blamed himself for not heeding her problems. According to Benny, her filing for divorce was a call for help and it also made him realize the importance of his wife and family.

After the divorce came through, Suzanne checked into the Betty Ford Clinic, in 2010 for chemical dependency problems. She came out free of her dependency issues, after nearly three and a half months of therapy.

In 2012, Benny Hinn announced that the two had started reconciliation process and in 2013, the two got married in the presence of a thousand people including their four children, four grandchildren and many important Christian ministers.

  • All I have to say is NASTY! Paula White has been passed around like a joint and still shamelessly calls herself an evangelist. Who is she evangelizing!!!! And Benny Hinn’s old nasty self has probably been lusting after her even before he divorced his wife but blames his wife because of a PRESCRIPTION DRUG “PROBLEM” for his infidelity, how convenient Benny- throw your wife under the bus to justify sleeping with Paula. Is this what “the body of Christ” looks like? I don’t think so!  Christendom today- BABYLON! Anyone who truly loves God should be ashamed to be associated with Hinn OR Paula White UNLESS you are ministering the TRUE GOSPEL to them that will lead to their genuine repentance. – “Church” you have failed terribly!

Black Christian University Professor Suspended After Saying Some BLM Members ‘Should Be Hung’

A Black professor at a Christian university in Phoenix has been suspended after a video clip revealed him making troubling remarks about activists in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Prof. Toby Jennings, of Grand Canyon University, was recorded in September 2016 speaking during a panel discussion called “God’s concern for the poor: What’s missing in social justice” when he was asked about Black Lives Matter. During his answer, Jennings openly stated he believed some members of the group “should be hung.”

After Jennings made the comment, several people in the room gasped, and Jennings said he was alright with his opinion even though he knew he was on camera.

Jennings said activists in the Black Lives Matter movement are different; some work for good, and some do not.

After the video was recently posted to GCU’s website and received tremendous backlash, the university’s College of Theology told professor Jennings his statements were offensive. Although Jennings apologized for his remarks, BLM was not satisfied and took matters into their own hands.

As a result, GCU suspended Jennings for the rest of the semester, yet members of BLM in Phoenix want more action to be taken.

“My heart is broken, not because GCU is our enemy, but they claim to be our brothers and sisters. Brothers and sisters please stop avoiding talking about ways racism… makes us uncomfortable,” Pastor Warren Stewart Jr. told Fox 10.

The president of Grand Canyon University said Jennings’s comments should be looked at as a reflection of the entire institution.

“Yes, it was wrong, but it is an isolated incident and it does not represent who our faculty is and it does not represent who our students are,” Brian Mueller, GCU’s president, told Fox 10.

“You have folks that participate in it on one side that are very thoughtful about the matter and then on the other side, you have people on the opposite side of that who frankly should be hung and I did say that on video… they are saying things that are not helpful in any shape or form or human dignity or flourishing,” Jennings said.

  • Be honest staff members of GCU, didn’t this man say openly what many of you said in private with your friends and family? I’m sure at some time in your [recent] life you have said even worse than this in private! You without sin CAST THE FIRST STONE! It’s all about being politically correct, this man was not fired/suspended because the staff members of GCU are so pure and holy, his job is in jeopardy because the school doesn’t want to lose donors and students!  You’re not fooling God you Philistines!

Chinese Government Bans Children From Attending Church

Chinese authorities have banned children from joining religious groups in its effort to crack down on religious practices, according to reports.

The ban also prohibits minors from attending religious sermons and from participating in religious activities, the Daily Mail reported, citing Chinese media.

The effort to exert more control began several years ago when churches in Zhejiang province were ordered to remove crosses from the buildings.

More recently, in early August, more than one hundred churches in Wenzhou, in Zhejiang province, reportedly received notices from government officials informing them that children will be banned from entering. The churches were also told that they were no longer allowed to organize youth summer camps.

It is unclear how widespread the ban on minors attending church has spread in China, but it is already affecting several provinces across the country.

Amnesty International researcher William Nee told the Daily Mail that the reports are “alarming” because they “seem to be coming in from fairly diverse areas.”

China is under a “religious revival” under President Xi Jinping, Nee said.

“The current government seems concerned that religion could be a means through which foreign values may ‘penetrate’ into China and ultimately affect political stability,” Nee said.

The ban also informs churches that government officials will investigate both government-approved churches and underground congregations who operate the tightly controlled Catholic and Protestant churches, Asian Catholic news site UCA News reported.
