Planned Parenthood Murdered 321,384 Babies Last Year and Received $543 Million From Taxpayers

This is a slight decrease from its last annual report, which revealed the company committed 328,348 in 2015-2016. Planned Parenthood’s total revenue is $1.46 billion, with $543.7 million—37 percent—of that coming from taxpayers.

Many of the contraceptives Planned Parenthood dispenses can also act as abortifacients.

Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League (ALL), said this is Planned Parenthood’s lowest self-reported annual abortion number since 2007.

“In addition to the reduction in abortions, Planned Parenthood also reported a slight lessening in its government funding (from $554.6 million to $543.7 million),” said Sedlak. “Planned Parenthood also reported lower numbers of female birth control customers, emergency contraceptive kits, PAP tests, and pregnancy tests. In fact, it reported that its total number of unique customers was the same as last year—2.4 million individuals.”

By attracting 721,000 new donors giving an average of $120 each, the abortion company added $86.5 to its coffers, according to the report.

“Our initial analysis is that Planned Parenthood spent the last year reducing medical activity and increasing its community and political organizing,” ALL observed. The group says it will release a detailed analysis of Planned Parenthood’s latest report in the coming days.

Planned Parenthood provided just 3,889 adoption referrals (exactly 1,000 more from the number it put on its last report) and 7,762 “prenatal services” from 2016-2017. That’s one adoption referral for every 83 abortions and prenatal care for one woman for every 239 abortions.

An investigation by the pro-life group Live Action released in January 2017 showed that Planned Parenthood facilities across the U.S. regularly turn away women seeking prenatal services. Only three of the 68 Planned Parenthood centers visited by Live Action investigators were able to provide women with an ultrasound for a purpose other than abortion.

The report says Planned Parenthood provided miscarriage care to just 1,182 women.

Planned Parenthood touted its support from the technology, entertainment, and fashion industries as successes. It boasted of a leading a “two-day interfaith convention with more than 40 clergy and faith leaders who support access to reproductive health care.”

“Typical under Cecile Richards’ leadership of Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant once again cut their prenatal services to almost non-existent levels, cut contraception services, and served 100,000 less people than last year, while still committing over 321,000 abortions,” said Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director who is now a pro-life advocate.

“Their annual report demonstrates that Planned Parenthood is not a healthcare organization but a political movement, intent on forcing their pro-abortion views on as many Americans as possible,” said Johnson, who now runs a ministry that helps abortion workers leave the industry.

“We’ve seen first-hand the impact that former abortion workers, especially those from Planned Parenthood, have on closing their former places of employment by helping people to leave – ensuring no one is left to run the clinics,” she said.

Planned Parenthood’s annual report also reveals it has “expanded” its focus on providing transgender hormone treatments at 17 locations.

Despite not performing mammograms last year or having any mammogram machines, Planned Parenthood reported that it did 336,614 breast exams – the type of breast checks which women are able to do on their own.

The abortion giant’s report frames itself to supporters as a leader in the “resistance” against the Trump administration and “an increasingly hostile political climate.”

It used its 50 new campus chapters as proof of what it considers to be a strong youth base. But Students for Life of America (SFLA) started “nearly 120” new campus chapters last year, according to its President Kristan Hawkins.

SFLA “now has more than 1,200 student groups on campuses in all 50 states,” said Hawkins. “Planned Parenthood reports training 750 young activists from 11 cities while Students for Life trained nearly 11,000 students from across the country. The pro-life generation clearly has more energy, passion, and motivation to defund Planned Parenthood.”

“It is vital that Planned Parenthood be defunded and student lives protected from a predatory and profit-driven enterprise,” said Hawkins. “But there is a silver lining in this release, as we can see that more students are responding to the human rights interests of the preborn than to the business interests of Planned Parenthood.”

Abortion-no-matter-what

Former Abortionist Tells Congressional Committee: ‘I Am a Mass Murderer’

Aultman, now retired from her OB/GYN practice, outlined that she has come to realize that the abortion industry is replete with “extreme propaganda.”

WASHINGTON — A former abortionist turned pro-life OB/GYN told a Congressional panel on Thursday that she lives with the realization that she is a “mass murderer” because of all the lives she ended.

“We know from a scientific standpoint that the baby in the womb is a human being and not just a blob of tissue,” Dr. Kathi Aultman stated before the House Judiciary Committee as support for the Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017. “Birth changes nothing but the baby’s environment. What justification do we have to deny them personhood and human rights until after their birth?”

She explained that there were three cases that opened her eyes about the evils of abortion. The first was a situation where a woman on whom Altman had performed three abortions returned a fourth time.

“I was told by the clinic staff that it was her right to choose to use abortion as her method of birth control and that I had no right to pass judgment on her or to refuse to do the procedure,” she recalled. “I told them it was fine for them to say, but that I was the one who had to do the killing.”

The second incident involved a woman who was asked by an accompanying friend if she wanted to see the baby, and straightforwardly proclaimed, “No! I just want to kill it.”

The third matter involved a mother of four who felt that she could not afford another child and wept throughout her time at the abortion facility.

“What struck me was the apathy of the first patient and the hostility of the second towards the fetus, contrasted with the sorrow and misery of the woman who knew what it was to have a child,” Aultman recalled. “I had finally made the emotional connection between fetus and baby, and realized that the baby was the innocent victim in all of this.”

“The fact that it was unwanted was no longer enough justification for me to kill it, and I could no longer do abortions,” she explained.

Aultman, now retired from her OB/GYN practice, outlined that she has come to realize that the abortion industry is replete with “extreme propaganda.”

“We have sanitized our language to make abortion more palatable and talk about the ‘fetus’ instead of the baby, and ‘terminating the pregnancy’ rather than ‘killing the baby,’” she lamented. “We have have moved farther away from the idea that life is precious and closer to the utilitarian attitudes that destroyed so many lives during the last century.”

“More and more we are embracing a culture of death that only values the strong and healthy,” Aultman said.

And as much as she enjoys seeing the children that she delivered years ago all grown up, it also reminds her of the people who are not here because she killed them.

“I love to meet adults that I delivered, but it’s always bittersweet because I am reminded of all the people I will never meet because I aborted them. It also reminds me that I am a mass murderer,” Aultman bluntly told Congress. “Because we can’t see who they will become, we feel justified in sacrificing babies in the womb for the people we can see.”

According to her bio, Aultman worked as the medical director of Planned Parenthood of Jacksonville from 1981 to 1983, and was also the co-founder of the Rape Treatment Center.

Planned Parenthood vs. Little Girls: Sex-Selective Abortion in America

“Modern abortions politics has done strange things to our culture.” Those who claim to be advocates for women turn a blind eye to the single greatest form of discrimination against them.

The worst form of discrimination against women in our time is one that is virtually ignored by feminists.

The abortion industry has long billed itself as a champion of women’s rights. Almost thirty years ago, the head of the National Abortion Rights Action League, or NARAL, told the New York Times that “Abortion is the guarantor of a woman’s right to participate fully in the social and political life of society.”

But as Cathy Ruse pointed out recently at the Daily Signal, abortion is being used right now to keep millions of women from participating in life, at all.

By some estimates, there are as many as 160 million girls and women missing worldwide because of sex-selective abortion. Modern technology that allows parents to find out before birth whether they’re having a boy or girl, coupled with traditional cultural preferences for boys, results in nothing less than “gendercide”—the systematic killing of female babies over males. And it’s not just happening overseas.

Newsweek reported last year that sex-selective abortions are on the rise right here in the U. S. One study by Columbia University found that Chinese, Korean and Indian parents on their second pregnancy gave birth to 117 boys for every 100 girls. For third children, the ratio shot up to a staggering 151 boys for every 100 girls.

The culprit, says Newsweek, is sex-selective abortion. So-called “family planning” clinics like those affiliated with Planned Parenthood are helping women kill their unborn daughters. You’d think organizations that pride themselves on protecting and empowering women would want this to stop, but you’d be wrong.

Last year, after the state of Indiana passed a law banning sex-selective abortion, a federal district judge granted a permanent injunction against the law at the request of—you guessed it—Planned Parenthood. In the name of ending discrimination against women, this abortion giant is literally making sure fewer women exist.

This is beyond perverse.

Even worse, pro-choice and feminist support for gendercide remains virtually unflinching. Back in March, when Arkansas enacted a ban on sex-selective abortions, the American Civil Liberties Union complained that the law prevents women from “obtaining abortions that they want for whatever reason,” even, apparently, if that reason is preferring boys over girls.

As Ruse remarks, “Modern abortions politics has done strange things to our culture.” Those who claim to be advocates for women turn a blind eye to the single greatest form of discrimination against them.

Now occasionally, a pro-choice feminist will let slip how he or she really feels about gendercide. That’s what happened back in 2011 when Pulitzer finalist Mara Hvistendahl published a book called “Unnatural Selection: Choosing Boys Over Girls, and the Consequences of a World Full of Men.” In it, she decries systematic discrimination against female fetuses, but comes up short of blaming the real culprit: abortion.

Reviewing the book in The New York Times, Ross Douthat observed that the problem of gendercide puts pro-choicers in a “distinctly uncomfortable position.” They insist “that the unborn aren’t human beings yet, and that the right to abortion is nearly absolute.” But this leaves them “struggling to define a victim for the crime [they’ve] uncovered.”

As pro-lifers, we need to continually point out this glaring inconsistency in the pro-choice worldview. To anyone not sold out to abortion-on-demand, it’s obvious that the sex of a baby is not a legitimate reason to kill her.

Of course, there’s never a legitimate reason to deliberately kill a baby—in the womb or out. But the 160 million missing girls worldwide should convince many that Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry—far from empowering women—have become the greatest perpetrators of their extermination.

Catholic leaders attack ‘erosion of respect’ for doctors who oppose abortion

200,000 pregnancies were terminated in the UK in 2015 alone

Catholic heads in the UK are issuing a robust defense of the Church’s abortion teaching after criticism of bishops’ stance from within the Catholic hierarchy.

Describing having a termination as a ‘grave decision’ the two leaders of the Catholic Church in England, Wales and Scotland attack the ‘contradiction’ in abortion laws for disabled babies and praised politicians who try to change the law.

They also lambast an ‘erosion of respect’ for those who oppose abortion, saying doctors and nurses ‘face increasing difficulty in being able to combine their dedicated professional work with their personal conviction’.

Pointing to recent cases where doctors and pharmacists feel they cannot refuse to offer abortion services, the senior bishops write: ‘So much talent is being lost to important professional areas. Personal conscience is inviolable and no-one should be forced to act against their properly formed conscience in these matters. This is something which needs greater debate in our society.’

The joint statement from Cardinal Vincent Nichols, president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales and Archbishop Philip Tartaglia, president of the Scottish Bishops’ Conference, marks the 50th anniversary of the Abortion Act 1967 which first permitted terminations in some circumstances in the UK.

‘Even despite the concerns raised at the time, it would, perhaps, have been difficult to predict that the number of abortions in our countries would have increased to such an alarming level,’ they write, pointing to figures suggesting nearly 200,000 pregnancies were terminated in the UK in 2015 alone.

They launch an attack on disability laws in the UK, which allow abortions to take place up until birth if the baby has a deformity but ban terminations beyond the 24th week of pregnancy for babies without a disability.

‘The witness of those who compete in the Paralympic games shines out as a way in which people with disability excel and compete, using their gifts to the full. We hope that greater reflection and consistency in the approach to unborn children with disabilities will lead to a change in understanding, with greater protection provided through new legislation,’ they write.

It comes after debate within the Catholic hierarchy after the Church’s teaching on abortion was branded impractical and figures showed most British Catholics do not hold to the bishops’ teaching with 61 per cent agreeing ‘the law should allow an abortion if the woman decides…she does not wish to have a child’.

The respected Catholic journal The Tablet published an editorial saying the Church’s strict stance means it ‘comes close to having no position at all, or at least none that has any relevance either to law-making or to the lives of real people’.

number of bishops were ‘scandalised’ by the piece and a number of bishops openly attacked the magazine as trying ‘to obscure the witness of Christian teaching’.

The Bishop of Shrewsbury, Mark Davies, told Christian Today: ‘Sadly there are journals which use the name “Catholic” but are not reliable guides to the faith and teaching of the Catholic Church.

‘The teaching of the Church could not be clearer in affirming that every human life must be presented and protected absolutely from the moment of conception.’

He went on: ‘No Catholic Christian could sincerely claim that this teaching is unclear or irrelevant to law-making or the moral choices made in the lives of people today.

‘It would be especially tragic in this anniversary year which marks the destruction of 8 million human lives since 1967 that anyone would seek to obscure the witness of Christian teaching to the value of every human life.’

Then in a blog post Bishop Michael Campbell of Lancaster said abortion was a ‘foundational issue’, adding: ‘Sadly, the price of admission into mainstream British life has meant that we somehow keep the Catholic brand name and tribal loyalty, but are content to live a mix of nostalgia and generic good will and “keep our heads down” in the public sphere’.

He added: ‘Some Catholics – including some periodicals and newspapers who claim to use that name – seem simply embarrassed by the abortion issue.

‘The abortion struggle gets in the way of their natural political alliances. Others don’t really agree with the Church’s teaching, or don’t accept the personhood of the unborn child. Others just want a respectable way to explain away this issue and get on with what they regard as the ‘real’ work of the Church!’

The fierce defence from Catholic bishops comes as a range of events are planned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Abortion Act.

The Tablet’s leader said that the Church’s teaching ‘would logically involve handing out long prison sentences not just to the doctors and nurses involved but to the women herself – and in every case, including if the termination of the pregnancy occurred the day after it started’.

Brendan Walsh, the editor of The Tablet, hit back at the criticism, saying that the bishops are ‘in a bit of a bind’.

He told Christian Today at the time: ‘The sanctity of the life of the unborn is one of the cornerstones of our beliefs as Catholics. Our leader in the issue of September 16 sympathised with the position of the Catholic MP Jacob Rees-Mogg, who personally opposes abortion in even the most difficult of circumstances, but has said he would not try to impose his views on others. It’s a position that attracted considerable hostility, but was also widely understood and respected, and could even be the start of a helpful conversation about life issues.

‘The Catholic bishops – it seems to me – are in a bit of a bind. They want to celebrate and protect every human life, from the moment of conception. But if they hold fast to the view that women should not be allowed the right to choose an abortion under any circumstances, the Catholic voice is less likely to be listened to.’

Judge Allows Illegal Immigrant Minor To Abort Baby IMMEDIATELY, Setting Precedent For Tax-Payer Funded Abortions FOR ALL ILLEGALS

the only two options the government was giving the teen were go home to procure the abortion or stay in the U.S. and not abort the baby.

“This ruling plays into the broader agenda of the ACLU, which is recklessly exploiting a teenage girl in order to make the United States a sanctuary state for abortion. We urge the Justice Department to appeal this ruling.” — Marjorie Dannenfelser

(Washington, DC) — [Lifesitenews.com] An Obama-appointed judge ordered the government today to allow an illegal immigrant minor in its custody to abort her preborn child “promptly and without delay.” (Photo: U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, Credit: Flickr via LifeSiteNews)

The mother seeking the abortion is a 17-year-old from Mexico.

Justice Department lawyers argued the government has “strong and constitutionally legitimate interests in promoting childbirth, in refusing to facilitate abortion, and in not providing incentives for pregnant minors to illegally cross the border to obtain elective abortions while in federal custody.”

U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan said she was “astounded” that the only two options the government was giving the teen were go home to procure the abortion or stay in the U.S. and not abort the baby.

Chutkan’s order even specified when the government-facilitated abortion is to take place. She must be taken to “obtain the counseling required by state law on October 19, 2017, and to obtain the abortion procedure on October 20, 2017 and/or October 21, 2017, as dictated by the abortion providers’ availability and any medical requirement.”

“Today’s ruling is outrageous and sets a dangerous precedent,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List. “The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services took a simple position that it would protect the life and dignity of the teenage girl and her unborn child while in their care. Shame on this judge for overruling compassionate care and instead mandating that the U.S. government help facilitate an abortion for a teenage girl.”

A lengthy Politico report indicated that the Trump administration has “intervened to prevent abortions sought by girls at federally funded shelters, even in cases of rape and incest and when the teen had a way to pay for the procedure.”

Instead, the Department of Health and Human Services has taken them to pregnancy resource centers. The Politico report indicated HHS officials have personally tried to save the preborn children of minors who are in the U.S. illegally.

“In some cases, a senior HHS official has personally visited or called pregnant teens to try to talk them out of ending their pregnancies,” Politico reported.

“Federal law is very clear on giving the director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement the legal responsibility to decide what is in the best interests of a minor in the unaccompanied alien children program and, in this case, her unborn baby,” the HHS Administration for Children and Families told Politico in a statement. “We cannot cede our responsibility to care for minors and their babies by releasing them to ideological advocacy groups.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is representing the 17-year-old.

Brigitte Amiri, senior staff attorney with the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, praised the abortion-seeking teen for her “courage and perseverance” in a statement celebrating the judge’s order that she be allowed to abort her child immediately.

“This ruling plays into the broader agenda of the ACLU, which is recklessly exploiting a teenage girl in order to make the United States a sanctuary state for abortion,” said Dannenfelser. “We urge the Justice Department to appeal this ruling.”

Abortion Clinics Offer Free Abortions to Hurricane Harvey Victims

Whole Women’s Health, one of the nation’s leading abortion providers, is offering free abortions to Hurricane Harvey victims.

“Unfortunately, we know all too well that abortion can be difficult to access in some parts of the country, especially Texas,” Whole Women’s Heath said on its blog. “During Hurricane Harvey, many of the clinics in Houston had to close temporarily, leaving women with very few options.”

“We’re offering NO-COST abortions to those affected by Hurricane Harvey,” the organization said.

According to the Dallas Morning News, nearly 80 women have already taken up the abortion provider on its offer, or are scheduled to do so soon.

But while the women may see the procedure as a free service, Texas Right to Life says “there is always a cost” to having an abortion.

“The promotion of this heinous no-cost service is riddled with fallacies because abortion is never free,” Texas Right to Life spokesperson Melissa Conway told Baptist Press. “There is always a cost to abortion. Women are not free from the emotional toll that ensues after abortion and the child is certainly not free to live another day. Abortions, just like the catastrophic effects of the hurricane, are never free and we as a community pay the price for their needless destruction.”

Conway also says now is the time for Christians to “be the hands and feet of Christ” and help pregnant women in need.

Satanic Temple and Planned Parenthood Advocate for Abortion in Missouri

Missouri has enacted multiple laws restricting abortion, including mandating a 72-hour waiting period for an abortion

Missouri has significant restrictions on abortion, but Planned Parenthood, along with Missouri Satanists, are working to change that.

According to Slate.com, Missouri has enacted multiple laws restricting abortion, including mandating a 72-hour waiting period for an abortion, requiring abortion clinics to obtain hospital admittance privileges for patients, and requiring that patients be notified that “abortion will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.”

Planned Parenthood is working to get these restrictions overturned, and members of the Satanic Temple are helping.

In 2015, a pregnant Satanist went to court to argue that requiring her to travel to a clinic twice (once for the initial appointment and once after the 72-hour waiting period to get the abortion) placed an undue financial burden on her. She also argued that the abortion restrictions hamper her “sincerely held religious beliefs” that her body is “inviolable.”

Although the case was ultimately tossed out because the plaintiff was no longer pregnant, the Satanists efforts, along with those of Planned Parenthood, have caused Missouri to relax some of its abortion restrictions.

Two new abortion clinics have opened and others will likely follow suit. Before this month, Missouri only had one operating abortion clinic.

Nigerian pastor to be hanged after setting church members on fire

The case has developed into a large-scale scandal in Nigeria with allegations of sexual abuse made against Ezeuko who made followers call him God or Jesus ‘all the time’.

Chukwuemeka-Ezeugo-rev-Rev.-KingA Nigerian pastor is on death row after dousing several church members in petrol and setting them ablaze.

One congregant died as a result and Emeka Ezeuko, known as Reverend King by his followers, was sentenced on Thursday to death by hanging.

He denied all six charges against him, saying his victims were burnt by an electrical generator exploding, according to local media reports. The case has developed into a large-scale scandal in Nigeria with allegations of sexual abuse made against Ezeuko who made followers call him God or Jesus ‘all the time’.

One witness said he had repeatedly abused her and was made to serve him meals naked. The same victim said she had had four abortions after Ezeuko impregnated her multiple times.

The court in Lagos heard Ezeuko had tortured his followers to force them into confessing to sex outside marriage before setting them alight as a punishment for their sin.

But one witness to the trial said the renegade pastor reacted defiantly to his sentencing.

‘I am not afraid to be hanged. After all Jesus Christ was hanged. That was how Jesus was hanged and the crowd was against him. It is a great honor for me to follow the footpath of the Lord Jesus Christ,’ he shouted to the courtroom.

Actress Martha Plimpton Boasts About Her First Abortion

Plimpton, known for her roles in the films “Small Town Murder Songs,” “Parenthood” and “The Goonies,” as well as sitcoms “The Real O’Neals” and “Raising Hope,” made her remarks in June while interviewing abortionist Willie Parker—a professing Christian—at the event.

SEATTLE, Wash. — Actress Martha Plimpton was met with cheers and applause as she rejoiced at a “shoutyourabortion” event that she had her first abortion in Seattle and joked that it was her “best one.”

The video has just now been the subject of controversy.

“Seattle has particular significance for me for lots of reasons. I’ve got a lot of family here, some of whom are in the audience tonight. I also had my first abortion at the Seattle Planned Parenthood. Yay!” she exclaimed, raising her arm in the air as if in celebration.

The audience then broke out into cheers and applause.

“Notice I said ‘first.’… I don’t want you guys to feel insecure;

,” she said, evoking laughter. “Heads and tails above the rest. If I could Yelp review it, I totally would. And if that doctor’s here tonight, I don’t remember you at all; I was 19. I was 19, but I thank you nonetheless.”

The video has generated a variety of reactions this week as it has been shared nationwide, with some expressing support for the actress and others finding her remarks deeply disturbing.

“And we should be able to say if our abortion experience was a good one and what made it good—that’s how we create better abortion care,” also remarked Marie Claire contributing editor Jessica Valenti, who also identifies as a feminist.

“Abortion supporters are no longer hiding how abortion kills an innocent life—they’re boasting about it,” lamented Lila Rose of the pro-life group LiveAction. “[Plimpton]’s not remorseful. She isn’t advocating for abortions to be rare—she proudly admits she’s had multiple abortions. This callous boasting is another sad example of the extremism that accompanies abortion.”

“Only a sick person would celebrate the death of a baby,” also commented congressional candidate E. Brian Rose.

Plimpton has been vocal about her abortion support for a number of years, writing in 2015, “Both contraception & abortion are moral acts when decided by the individual. Religious freedom means all are free to make their own decisions.”

“Women matter more than fetuses,” she wrote in 2014.

Plimpton also raised eyebrows when photos emerged last year of the actress wearing a dress that had the word “abortion” written across it with hearts.

As previously reported, in an introductory lecture to his course on obstetrics in 1854, Philadelphia doctor Hugh Lennox Hodge lamented that even the mothers of his day were lacking of natural affection toward their own children and sought out means to kill them.

“They seem not to realize that the being within them is indeed animate, that is, in verity, a human being—body and spirit—that it is of importance, that its value is inestimable, having reference to this world and the next,” he said. “They act with as much indifference as if the living, intelligent, immortal existence lodged within their organs were of no more value than the bread eaten, or the common excretions of the system.”

“We can bear testimony that in some instances, the woman who has been well educated, who occupies high stations in society, whose influence over others is great, and whose character has not been impugned, will deliberately resort to any and every measure which may effectively destroy her unborn offspring,” Hodge sorrowed.“[S]he recklessly and boldly adopts measures, however severe and dangerous, for the accomplishment of her unnatural, her guilty purpose … that she may be delivered of [a child] for which she has no desire, and whose birth and appearance she dreads.”

  • An actress who jokes about murdering babies and the church isn’t boycotting her movies? Oh, I forgot; the abortionist sitting beside her is a “christian”- so does this mean that Christians support murder? Hmm, no wonder so many are turning away from Christianity, they support evil instead of taking a firm stand against it. A house divided will never stand! Church, you have failed again!
