72-Y-O Pastor Charged With Abusing Underage Girls After Luring Them With Candy, Attempts Suicide

Chief Tucker noted that an adult woman also came forward and claimed that Evans also molested her prior to him becoming pastor of the church.

A longtime Indiana pastor arrested last month on charges of sexually molesting several underage girls after luring them to his office with candy tried to commit suicide on Friday.

Pastor Garry Evans, 72, led Rushville Baptist Temple in Rushville, Indiana, for some 30 years before he was arrested and charged with three counts of child molestation, four counts of sexual battery and five counts of child solicitation last month after he was accused by a 3-year-old girl of sexual abuse.

WBIW report said Evans attempted to kill himself last Friday, a day after he was slapped with additional counts of child molesting and child solicitation.

Police say that at around 5:30 p.m. Friday, they were called to the pastor’s residence about the attempted suicide and found him unresponsive. He was resuscitated and transported to Rush Memorial Hospital. His condition is currently unknown.

Police began investigating Evans on Sept. 4, according to Fox 59, after a 3-year-old girl told police that Evans took her to his office for candy but pulled down his pants instead and made her touch his penis. He warned her not to tell anyone.

Once word got out about Evans’ behavior, other mothers began questioning their daughters about their encounters with the pastor and four more girls under the age of 10 came forward with molestation charges.

One girl said in court documents that Evans touched her “nearly every time she went to church.” She said he just laughed when she told him “no.”

Another girl who said she was regularly touched by the pastor said she told him to stop and left his office because his touching made her uncomfortable.

Another girl said Evans regularly touched her; one time she told him to stop and left the room because it made her uncomfortable.

Camishe Nunley of Healing with Hidden Hurts told Fox 59 that pedophiles, especially those in positions of power, have an “unquenchable” desire for intimacy with children.

“If they can find a way to develop some relationship where they’re in power, where they’re in control they will utilize that, with pedophiles, they have this unquenchable desire and thirst for that level of intimacy with children,” she explained.

Police also believe more victims could be suffering in silence and urged parents to look out for potential signs of abuse.

“If you have a child who has exhibited unusual behavior after being in the vicinity of the church or this pastor and you believe there has been something that has happened to this child that might indicate something inappropriate happened, we definitely want them to give us a call,” Rushville Police Chief Craig Tucker said earlier.

When residents who live near the church heard of the allegations last month, some expressed pity for the pastor because the church attracts a large following.

“I don’t condone that but I feel sorry for him,” Martha Scheyer, who lives across the street from the church with her family, told WTHR. “I don’t know nothing about that church but I was saddened, that’s sad to hear at any place.”

Chief Tucker noted that an adult woman also came forward and claimed that Evans also molested her prior to him becoming pastor of the church.

“Some 30 year ago she was also victimized by the pastor at Rushville Baptist Church, although at that time he was not the pastor there, he was pastor in a different community,” Tucker said.

Former StemExpress Worker Recalls Daily ‘Grocery List’-Like Outline of Baby Body Parts Needed From Planned Parenthood

StemExpress was accused of similar actions, paying Planned Parenthood $55 for a baby and then selling his or her body parts for $250 each, making $1000 from just one child.

A former procurement technician at the biomedical research supply company StemExpress is explaining how she would open her email each day to find a “grocery list”-like outline of certain baby body parts that she and others needed to strive to obtain while spending the day at Planned Parenthood.

In the Center for Medical Progress’ second whistle-blower video, released on Tuesday, Holly O’Donnell provided actual emails and documents as proof of the workings of StemExpress inside Planned Parenthood.Baby-parts

“We would turn on Messenger on our laptops, we would go to one of the medical rooms, and we would open up the task page—which it shows you what the researchers want, [such as] how many specimens that they want for that day or that week,” she explained. “And if you were able to get that specimen, you would edit the task page and put how many you had and put your initials.”“Roughly saying, it was like a grocery list of what to get for that day,” O’Donnell said.

She recalled that she would approach the head nurse at the Planned Parenthood facility and advise them what StemExpress was looking for on that date.

“They’d give you a sheet of the appointments, which women were coming in … and if they knew how far along they were,” O’Donnell outlined.

She would then compare who was coming in for an abortion that day with what was on the task page provided by StemExpress.

“Well, at 11 o’clock, we’ve got a 15-week. I need a liver. [So I’d] highlight her,” O’Donnell illustrated. “So that way, I could prioritize my day and know who to talk to.”

Sometimes, Planned Parenthood staff would let O’Donnell know that a mother that was of her needed gestation was present, so that she could obtain the woman’s consent that the baby’s remains be used for research.

One of the task schedules shown in the video from March 20, 2013 outlines that a liver from a baby 18-22 weeks gestation was needed for UCLA that day, and a liver, thymus and skin sample from a baby 16-20 weeks gestation was needed for the University of Massachusetts and Harvard.

“Ship all tissue under Harvard’s FedEx number,” one of the task notes read.

O’Donnell left her job at StemExpress in 2013, and StemExpress discontinued its partnership with Planned Parenthood in 2015 after CMP’s undercover investigative videos were released to the public.

As previously reported, last year, the Congressional Select Panel on Infant Lives issued numerous criminal referrals while investigating Planned Parenthood and its partners, including StemExpress.

Specifically, the Congressional Committee noted in its report that StemExpress, Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) and Novogenics Laboratories purchased the bodily organs of aborted babies from several California Planned Parenthood locations, and then resold them at substantially higher prices. The organizations were also accused of hiking the prices above costs for “transportation, implantation, processing, preservation, quality control or storage of” the body parts.

“In June of 2014, an ABR technician obtained a 20-week-old fetus at a Planned Parenthood clinic, for which it paid $60,” the report outlined. “From that one fetus, ABR sold its brain to one customer for $325, both of its eyes for $325 each ($650 total) to a second customer, a portion of its liver for $325 to a third customer, its thymus for $325 and another portion of its liver for $325 to a fourth customer, and its lung for $325 to a fifth customer.”

StemExpress was accused of similar actions, paying Planned Parenthood $55 for a baby and then selling his or her body parts for $250 each, making $1000 from just one child.

The Committee also noted that despite Planned Parenthood’s “constant statements to the media that [its] affiliates had merely been recovering their costs” in receiving payment from ABR, StemExpress and other companies, its attorneys told the investigative Congressional panel that the Planned Parenthood offices only sought to determine their costs after-the-fact in light of national scrutiny.

“Around that time, Planned Parenthood announced it would no longer accept any payments in connection with its fetal tissue transfer programs,” Sen. Chuck Grassley explained.

Judge Allows Illegal Immigrant Minor To Abort Baby IMMEDIATELY, Setting Precedent For Tax-Payer Funded Abortions FOR ALL ILLEGALS

the only two options the government was giving the teen were go home to procure the abortion or stay in the U.S. and not abort the baby.

“This ruling plays into the broader agenda of the ACLU, which is recklessly exploiting a teenage girl in order to make the United States a sanctuary state for abortion. We urge the Justice Department to appeal this ruling.” — Marjorie Dannenfelser

(Washington, DC) — [Lifesitenews.com] An Obama-appointed judge ordered the government today to allow an illegal immigrant minor in its custody to abort her preborn child “promptly and without delay.” (Photo: U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, Credit: Flickr via LifeSiteNews)

The mother seeking the abortion is a 17-year-old from Mexico.

Justice Department lawyers argued the government has “strong and constitutionally legitimate interests in promoting childbirth, in refusing to facilitate abortion, and in not providing incentives for pregnant minors to illegally cross the border to obtain elective abortions while in federal custody.”

U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan said she was “astounded” that the only two options the government was giving the teen were go home to procure the abortion or stay in the U.S. and not abort the baby.

Chutkan’s order even specified when the government-facilitated abortion is to take place. She must be taken to “obtain the counseling required by state law on October 19, 2017, and to obtain the abortion procedure on October 20, 2017 and/or October 21, 2017, as dictated by the abortion providers’ availability and any medical requirement.”

“Today’s ruling is outrageous and sets a dangerous precedent,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List. “The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services took a simple position that it would protect the life and dignity of the teenage girl and her unborn child while in their care. Shame on this judge for overruling compassionate care and instead mandating that the U.S. government help facilitate an abortion for a teenage girl.”

A lengthy Politico report indicated that the Trump administration has “intervened to prevent abortions sought by girls at federally funded shelters, even in cases of rape and incest and when the teen had a way to pay for the procedure.”

Instead, the Department of Health and Human Services has taken them to pregnancy resource centers. The Politico report indicated HHS officials have personally tried to save the preborn children of minors who are in the U.S. illegally.

“In some cases, a senior HHS official has personally visited or called pregnant teens to try to talk them out of ending their pregnancies,” Politico reported.

“Federal law is very clear on giving the director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement the legal responsibility to decide what is in the best interests of a minor in the unaccompanied alien children program and, in this case, her unborn baby,” the HHS Administration for Children and Families told Politico in a statement. “We cannot cede our responsibility to care for minors and their babies by releasing them to ideological advocacy groups.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is representing the 17-year-old.

Brigitte Amiri, senior staff attorney with the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, praised the abortion-seeking teen for her “courage and perseverance” in a statement celebrating the judge’s order that she be allowed to abort her child immediately.

“This ruling plays into the broader agenda of the ACLU, which is recklessly exploiting a teenage girl in order to make the United States a sanctuary state for abortion,” said Dannenfelser. “We urge the Justice Department to appeal this ruling.”

Mother Crashes Church Service and Accuses Married Pastor of Sleeping With Her Daughter

“Three years you’ve been messing with her. And I know about it.”

A married Mississippi preacher was forced to call the police for help after an enraged mother crashed his sermon Sunday and alleged in the presence of his shocked congregation that he was involved in a sexual relationship with her daughter for several years.

In a video of the encounter posted to YouTube, the angry mother alleged at Word Fellowship Baptist Church of Prentiss that Pastor Billy Walker had been carrying on an affair with her daughter for three years and recently threatened to file criminal charges against her after she caught him with another female member of the church.

“Leave my child alone. After all this time you’re going to press charges against her. And it took her to catch you with another woman of the church for her to finally get mad,” the unidentified mother screamed at Walker in the video as he stood at his pulpit.

The individual who first uploaded the video said Walker’s wife, Vivian, with whom he has two sons and has been married to for nearly 30 years was sitting in the pews of the church as the allegations were made.

“I’m a mother, that’s my child. No mother in this church would do what I’m doing for my baby,” the mother continued in the video. “Three years you’ve been messing with her. And I know about it.”

As to why she allowed her daughter to remain in the alleged affair with Pastor Walker for three years remains unclear.

The Christian Post reached out to the church for comment on Wednesday but calls went unanswered and Walker did not respond to questions via email by press time.

Prentiss Police confirmed the disturbance on Wednesday and said Walker had reached out to them for help.

“He did call up here and said that they had kicked out a member and needed an officer down there to make sure they didn’t come back,” a Prentiss Police dispatcher, who gave his name only as Chuck, said.

“He wanted to know what he needed to do and I told him he need to make a trespassing charge or something and if they came back I could pick them up,” Chuck said. “Other than that he never came through and make any charges or anything like that.”

On his church’s website, Walker declares that he has been “anointed and appointed for such times as these and adhering to the Church.”

He says his “greatest desire is preaching, pastoring, teaching and building the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.  He also strongly advocates lifelong commitments between one man and one woman in marriage.

“We believe that the family is God’s foundational institution for human society (Matthew 19:5-6; Ephesians 5:22-6:4). Therefore, we encourage lifelong commitments to marriage between one man and one woman; we support the ongoing spiritual nurture of the family; and we are committed to honoring the priority of family time through our ministries and activities,” his church notes.

Radio Evangelist RG Stair Accused of Sexual Assault – Congregation Watched as He Inappropriately touched a 12 year old girl

“I’m here to talk about an incident with a man named R.G. Stair. For five months, I went to work at the community. The first month, he would find me in the dining hall and touch my butt a lot.

South Carolina police say they are now investigating video evidence that accuses controversial radio evangelist Pastor Ralph Gordon Stair, also known as Brother R.G. Stair and “the prophet,” of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl and touching the breast of a 12-year-old girl in his church while the congregation watched.

Stair, 84, who leads the Overcomer Ministry community in Walterboro, pleaded guilty in 2004 of fondling two former female residents. Members of the community live, work and raise their children there. New members can only move there after they accept Stair as the “last day prophet,” take a vow of poverty and donate all their property and financial assets to the ministry.

In one of the controversial videos currently being investigated, Stair cups and pats the breast of a 12-year-old girl as members of his church watch.

“How old are you hon?” Stairs asks the girl in the video. When she tells him that she is just 12, he replies, “Twelve, getting right close to it now” to indicate that she is close to the age where she could start having sex. That age, according to a man narrating the video who says he is a former member of the church, is 13.

As the video continues, Stair tells the girl to come up to the front of the church after previously hugging her.

“Come here, I’ll show you, just look, look here,” he says.

He then makes the 12-year-old face the congregation then places his hand between her breasts.

“Growing up,” he says, before cupping and patting her right breast. He then sends her back to her seat and promises to stay on her case.

“I’m gonna touch those things till nobody else can touch ’em,” he says in the video about her breasts.

In another video, a 16-year-old girl named Natosha who claims she is being forced to attend his church, says she was sexually assaulted by Stair while working at his compound for five months.

“I’m here to talk about an incident with a man named R.G. Stair. For five months, I went to work at the community. The first month, he would find me in the dining hall and touch my butt a lot. The second month, he would come in and he would start lifting up my shirt and touching me sexually. And the third and fourth month, he would just repeat himself,” she explained.

It wasn’t until the fifth month she said, that Stair took his predatory behavior to another level.

“The fifth month, he asked me to go to the radio room and I didn’t want to go there. I did not,” she said.

“He wanted to give me something so I went. When we got inside he gave me what he wanted to give me and then he started fondling my breasts. And he kept asking me ‘Do you feel good, do you feel good.’ And I didn’t say anything because I didn’t know what to do. I just didn’t. And so I turned around to go out the door and he grabbed me from behind, wrapped his arms around me and he said, ‘I wish I could keep you in here longer.’ Then he started touching and rubbing my vagina inside my pants and after that, nothing really happened,” she said.

In another instance, Stair offers a rub down to an overweight young girl.

“She get fat see,” he says as the young girl walked up to him at the church. “You don’t get like your sister do you?” he asked her as she replies “no.”

“Why you big ol’ fat thing. Big mouth, smart aleck,” he responds. “Ahhh,” he continues with a sigh until he embraces her and pats her down with his hands extending down the small of her back.

“She getting’ fat. I know ’cause I feel it,” he tells the congregation as he continues patting her down.

“You gaining weight?” he soon asks. She shook her head and said “no.”

He laughs, cups her face with both hands and says: “We gon’ make it. We gon’ make it nice and slim. Slim and trim. I’ll give you a rub down.

“You shouldn’t mess with a woman’s breast. Why not? I love them,” he says while making sucking sounds and smacking his lips.

Lt. Tyger Benton of the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office told The Christian Post Friday that they were sent the videos about two weeks ago and are currently investigating.

“We were shown the videos. The sheriff is aware of them. He looked at them, got in contact with our investigations department, had them start looking into it and at this point, SLED, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, has been notified which is gonna be working alongside us with that,” he said. “Right now, it’s just an investigation phase. No charges have been brought up, no warrants and so forth.”

When asked if the police had contacted Stairs, he said: “I don’t feel we need to contact him at this point as we’re just looking into it. I’m sure that once … if we find something that we need to go forward with then yes, he would probably be contacted at that point.”

He further noted that he was not able to say if any of the girls or parents of any of the girls have come forward to make a charge against Stair.

Messages left for Stair at his ministry were not returned on Friday.  The former member narrating one of the videos, however, describes the church community as a “cult” that preys on young girls.

“Ralph Gordon Stairs’ MO is to prep young girls’ minds to accept what is eventually to become a sexual assault. He uses his influence, his position and spiritual power to control them. It’s only within the last six months that he’s beginning to do it publicly,” the former member said.

“It concerns me that while listening to his recent speeches, he has really began pushing that at the age of 13, a girl becomes a woman and can start being with boys and has to watch out for boys. He obviously has some young targets for him to be changing his narrative,” he continued.

“With the girls’ safety in mind, I believe the context of individual events are irrelevant. He has a history of assaulting young women, and has already pled guilty to similar crimes in the past. He’s a master manipulator and although he calls it a church, as a former member, let me assure you, it is a cult,” the ex-member ended.

Congress Will Continue Opening Sessions in Prayer Despite Challenge by Atheist

“Our rights come from God, so it’s only fitting that the House begins each day united in prayer.”

WASHINGTON—  Congress will continue opening sessions in prayer after a challenge to the tradition by an atheist. A federal court ruled against the lawsuit brought by Daniel Barker, co-president of Freedom From Religion Foundation.

He argued he has denied the opportunity to give an opening invocation in Congress although other guest chaplains were allowed to do so. U.S. District Judge Rosemary M. Collyer said in her decision that House rules didn’t allow Barker the to lead the prayer because he had left his faith.

Collyer also pointed out opening prayer has been a part of Congress for more than two centuries and it doesn’t conflict with the establishment clause according to the United States Supreme Court.

House Speaker Paul Ryan was quick to applaud the decision.

“Since the first session of the Continental Congress, our nation’s legislature has opened with a prayer to God. Today, that tradition was upheld and the freedom to exercise religion was vindicated. The court rightfully dismissed the claims of an atheist that he had the right to deliver a secular invocation in place of the opening prayer,” Ryan said.

“Recently, especially following the return of Majority Whip Steve Scalise, this institution has been reminded about the power of prayer. I commend the District Court for its decision, and I am grateful that the People’s House can continue to begin its work each day as we have for centuries: taking a moment to pray to God,” Ryan concluded.

Scalise also responded to the decision on Twitter saying, “Our rights come from God, so it’s only fitting that the House begins each day united in prayer.” Barker says Collyer’s decision was tainted by her “personal bias against nonreligious people. Collyer was appointed to the court by George W. Bush.
