Witch Doctors in Uganda Sacrificing Children in Bid to End Drought, Report Says

human sacrifices are on the rise, as the East African country battles its worst drought in more than half a century.

(Fox News)  Witch doctors are sacrificing children in Uganda, looking to turn the tide with miracles in the drought-stricken country, a new report says.

Officials in Uganda say the number of human sacrifices are on the rise, as the East African country battles its worst drought in more than half a century. More than 11 million people are facing food insecurity and more than 1.6 million are on the brink of famine.

“There is no food due to the ongoing drought, and some believe that this has been brought by ancestral spirits,” Joel Mugoya, a traditional, told the Religion News Service, according to USA Today. “So there is a high desire for people to conduct sacrifices so that they come out of this problem.”

Satanic Temple Wants Followers to Force Christian Bakers to Make a Cake to ‘Honor Satan’

“If you can’t get a cake for your same-sex union, we’ll host a party in your honor at The Satanic Temple headquarters in Salem and order a cake that praises Satan from your offending discriminatory ‘religious liberty’ enthusiast,” Greaves said.

Temple, out of its dissatisfaction with Christian-owned bakeries that decline to make cakes celebrating same-sex “weddings,” is now asking its followers to force bakers to make a cake for Satan.

The group says that it came up with the idea in light of the Masterpiece Cakeshop case soon to be considered by the U.S. Supreme Court.

“[B]ecause sexual orientation is not a protected class under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (whereas race and religion are), there is a good chance that the right to discriminate against gay couples will be affirmed as a constitutional liberty,” it wrote.  Out of the Satanic Temple’s fears that the court will likely rule in favor of the cakeshop, it has asked that those “who feel alienated or oppressed by the privileged status that religion holds over sexual orientation” contact religious bakers and order a cake to “honor Satan.”

It asserts that the bakeries will not be able to say no since religion is considered a federally-protected class.

“Because religion is a protected class, a baker may refuse service to LGBTQ people, but they may not refuse service based upon someone’s religion. If they aren’t willing to make a cake for same-sex unions, let’s have them make a cake to honor Satan instead,” spokesperson Doug Messner, who goes by the name Lucien Greaves, said in a statement on Thursday.

However, as previously reported, while the Satanic Temple contends that it is a religious group, it also notes on its website that it is “non-theistic” and does not believe in Satan or the supernatural at all, but only views the devil as a metaphor and a “symbol of the eternal rebel.”

“[W]e do not promote a belief in a personal Satan,” its FAQ section explains. “To embrace the name Satan is to embrace rational inquiry removed from supernaturalism and archaic tradition-based superstitions.”

Some, therefore, consider the group as essentially an atheist effort to make a point about religion.

The Satanic Temple acknowledged to the Daily Caller this week that it is particularly upset that Christian bakers have declined to create baked goods for same-sex ceremonies because many members of the devilish group identify as homosexual.

“A lot of our membership is also homosexual as well, and I feel like there’s obvious reasons for that,” Messner said. “You know, we’re very into that kind of thing. There’s no issue of tolerance with us. And a lot of people who have grown up gay feel very alienated from traditional religion. So we have a very high population of LGBTQ community also as membership of the Satanic Temple.”

As previously reported, in 2015, during the unveiling of its Baphomet statue in Detroit, attendees shouted “Hail Satan” as two shirtless men pulled off the cloth that covered the figure and then embraced and kissed each other in front of the statue.

The group wrote in Thursday’s press release that if the U.S. Supreme Court rules in favor of religious bakeries, the Satanic Temple will host a party for Satan in “honor” of every unsuccessful attempt to order a same-sex “wedding” cake from a Christian baker.

“If you can’t get a cake for your same-sex union, we’ll host a party in your honor at The Satanic Temple headquarters in Salem and order a cake that praises Satan from your offending discriminatory ‘religious liberty’ enthusiast,” Greaves said.

According to the Scriptures, one of the signs of the last days is that mockers and scoffers will arise, living in accordance with their own fleshly lusts.

“But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts,” verse 17 reads. “These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.”

The Matthew Henry Commentary on this passage describes such persons as “sensual men separate from Christ and His Church, [who] join themselves to the devil, the world and the flesh by ungodly and sinful practices.”

“We must watch over one another faithfully, yet prudently reprove each other, and set a good example to all about us. This must be done with compassion, making a difference between the weak and the willful. Some we must treat with tenderness. Others save with fear; urging the terrors of the Lord,” he continues. “All endeavors must be joined with decided abhorrence of crimes, and care [must] be taken to avoid whatever led to, or was connected with fellowship with them—in works of darkness—keeping far from what is or appears to be evil.”

Pastor Vows to Destroy Florida Teacher’s Demonic Display at Public Park

A Florida pastor has vowed to destroy a Satanic display which a teacher plans to erect in a local public park.

According to ChristianToday.com, Preston Smith teaches language arts at Boca Raton Community Middle School. Smith has reportedly angered parents previously by seeming to encourage his students in his anti-Christian views. Now Smith plans to erect a monument to Satan at a local park, Sanborn Square.

The display will feature a large metal pentagram as well as signs saying “May the Children Hail Satan,” “In Satan We Trust,” and “One Nation under Antichrist.”

Mark Boykin of the Church of All Nations in Boca Raton has taken issue with Smith’s intent to erect the display and has accused Smith of “putting out a welcome mat for Satan.”

“I think this is reprehensible. I think it’s an insult to our city. …It’s evil, it’s the essence of evil. I will take the responsibility for taking the sledgehammer and knocking it down,” Boykin added.

Boca Raton’s mayor Susan Haynie agreed with Boykin that the display was “extremely offensive,” but said the city council was going to honor free speech and allow Smith to erect the display.

Smith has defended the display by stating, ”’May the Children Hail Satan’ is an artistic expression of defiance toward the Sanborn Square nativity scene, which performs an annual re-enactment of predatory indoctrination in a public park targeting young children before they have critical thinking skills. Satan and God are clearly both fictional characters devoid of any verifiable peer-reviewed scientific evidence.”

Pope Accused of Material Heresy for First Time Since Middle Ages

Pope Francis is known for being more liberal than his predecessors, often embracing modernism, which is seen in Catholicism as the antithesis to definite truths, which are God-given, eternal, not to become “provisional and subject to revision.”

In a move unprecedented since the Middle Ages, 62 clergy and lay scholars from around the world have issued a formal filial correction to Pope Francis accusing him of “propagating heresies” about “marriage, the moral life, and the reception of the sacraments.”

“Respectfully insisting” that the Pope condemns the heresies that he has directly and indirectly upheld, the letter suggests that the Catholic leader’s unorthodox views have “caused these heretical opinions to spread in the Catholic Church.” The Pope has yet to respond to the accusations.

According to the National Catholic Register, the 25-page Correctio filialis de haeresibus propagatis (A Filial Correction Concerning the Propagation of Heresies) was delivered to the pontiff at his Santa Marta residence on August 11. It accused him of propagating heresies, including allowing some divorced or remarried Catholics to receive communion.

Pope Francis is known for being more liberal than his predecessors, often embracing modernism, which is seen in Catholicism as the antithesis to definite truths, which are God-given, eternal, not to become “provisional and subject to revision.” In a trip to Lund, Sweden in 2016, the Pope came under Catholic condemnation when he visited the Lutheran Church of Sweden that is said to “accept contraception, abortion, homosexuality, and female clergy, all of which are strictly and unalterably forbidden in the Catholic Church.”

The same year, he made an official statement in Amoris laetitia (Pope Francis’ book, translated as The Joy of Love) calling for acceptance of non-traditional lifestyles and those who practice them, challenging the long-held Catholic condemnation of homosexuality. The Pope has even been compared to Protestant leader Martin Luther, to whom he has given “explicit and unprecedented praise” despite the fact that Luther’s attempts to reform the Church ended in a great schism.

The letter, dated July 16th, 2017, was signed by 62 Catholic leaders, including the superior general of the Society of St. Pius X Bishop Bernard Fellay, former president of the Vatican Bank Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, and German intellectual Martin Mosebach. This is the first filial correction addressed to a reigning Pontiff since Pope John XXII was reproved in 1333 for saying that those who died in grace do not see God face-to-face until the Last Judgment, where Catholic belief holds that those who die in the faith do indeed immediately meet with God.

The letter reads that it is with their “profound grief” but moved “by love for the Church and for the papacy, and by filial devotion toward yourself” that they must address “a correction to Your Holiness on account of the propagation of heresies affected by the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia and by other words, deeds and omissions of Your Holiness.”

Those who signed stress that they are not accusing the Pope of the formal sin of heresy, which is a heretic opinion expressed willfully and deliberately, knowing of its contradiction of some revealed truth. Rather, they accuse him of ‘material’ heresy, in which an opinion unknowingly contradicts the teachings of the Church, leading Catholics into false doctrines.

This is the sixth major initiative since September 2015 in which clergy and lay scholars have condemned the Pope’s liberal teachings and controversial passages in Amoris laetitia that contain “a number of statements that can be understood in a sense that is contrary to Catholic faith and morals.” These previous initiatives garnering hundreds of thousands of signatures from individuals and associations from around the world, none of which have garnered a Papal response.

Jews Forbidden From Carrying Sukkot ‘Four Species’ on Temple Mount

The decree was announced in response to a request by a number of Jews who plan to ascend to the Temple Mount during the intermediate days of Sukkot

Chief Superintendent Michael Frankenburg, the legal advisor of the Jerusalem District Police, has recently decreed that Jews carrying the “four species” would be banned from the Temple Mount during the holiday of Sukkot, Kipa reported.

The decree was announced in response to a request by a number of Jews who plan to ascend to the Temple Mount during the intermediate days of Sukkot – Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, Attorney Aviad Visoli, activist Michael Puah, Yochai Sarel and Maayan Magen.

In his response, Frankenborg wrote that he was authorized by Jerusalem Police District Commander, Yoram Halevi to announce that “in the framework of the rules of the Temple Mount, in accordance with the status quo in the area, ritual activity with overt external features, including the four species, is forbidden.”

“In view of the above, we are forced to respond to your demand in the negative,” the Police legal adviser concluded.

Michael Puah, chairman of B’Tsalmo, said in response: “It is regrettable that the legal adviser of the Jerusalem District justifies a discriminatory policy. His attempt to ignore the fact that this is a prohibition against worshiping Jews while Muslims are allowed the full freedom of worship will lead us to write a letter asking him to clarify the matter.”

Back in 2014, Puah was videotaped shaking his four species in the Temple Mount compound, when a Waqf agent alerted a policeman who told him to halt while he consulted his superiors. Puah then instructed his son to shake his lulav, and as a result was detained for questioning and released.  “On the first day you shall take the product of hadar trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before Hashem your God seven days.” Leviticus 25:40 (The Israel Bible™)

Satanic Fashion Show Desecrates 1000 Year-Old London Church

“I use a lot of religious iconography, or occult symbols, magic symbols,” she said, adding the disclaimer, “Even if I don’t believe in them.”

This aspect of her art comes from her childhood. Satanism was a hobby for the budding artist when she was growing up.

fashion show in London last week left many aghast as it transformed an ancient and venerated church into a Satanically inspired display, with transvestite models dressed as the devil. Though the designer and fashionistas claim it was all in the name of art with no ill-will intended, the church has expressed its deepest regret.

Turkish designer Dilara Findikoglu’s collection was displayed in St. Andrew Holborn church in Central London as part of the Spring/Summer 2018 London Fashion Week. But rather than reflect or honor the setting, a 1,000-year old church, the show became a tribute to Satanism.

The apse of the church was decorated with a wild display of demonic imagery, including pentagrams, goatheads, inverted crosses, all-seeing eyes, and other occult symbols. The models, including at least one drag queen, were dressed as devils, with symbols used in devil worship and black magic designs drawn on their faces and bodies.

The designer is considered to be an up-and-coming star of the fashion world, with celebrities like Rihanna wearing her latest styles. Findikoglu rejected criticism of her demonic display.

“The show I did has no religious, Illuminati, secret society meanings,” the 26-year-old told Dazed. “All the symbols I used were for positive purposes. I am a creative and I am not trying to offend anyone. I understand people can be sensitive, but I think all these hate emails and attacks I am getting from Christians show who really is wrong,” she said, adding, “If there is such a thing as right or wrong’.

Though the designer claimed that the show was not satanically inspired, the Diocese of London released a statement expressing regret for their decision to allow the fashion show to take place in the church.

“We took this booking in good faith and were not aware of the content or design before the show took place,” the statement read. “This was obviously a mistake, and the content of this show does not reflect the Christian faith of the Church. We will be looking at our booking processes going forward to ensure this does not happen again.”

Despite her claims to the contrary, religion (and anti-religion) have played a significant role in Findikoglu’s design career and personal life. Raised in a religious Muslim family, she admits to being driven by a negative perception of religion.

When asked last year by i-D, a fashion site, what the inspiration was behind her collection, she stated that it was a desire to rebel against religion, equating organized religion with the worst form of terrorism facing the world today.

“It was about a new belief system that ignores the control imposed by religions and unifies people by its laws based on simple human acts,” she answered candidly. “This was a reaction to question fundamentalist constructs that is currently terrorizing the world.”

“I use a lot of religious iconography, or occult symbols, magic symbols,” she said, adding the disclaimer, “Even if I don’t believe in them.”

This aspect of her art comes from her childhood. Satanism was a hobby for the budding artist when she was growing up.

“I’m into parapsychology and all the occult and magic stuff, so when I was reading those books, [my parents] thought I was going to be a Satanist.”

Could this be the UK’s first female Archbishop?

the electoral college will be locked inside Holy Trinity Church in Llandrindod Wells for up to three days to debate and vote on their next leader.

Voting is underway to chose the next Archbishop of Wales with speculation over whether it could be a woman.

Representatives from across Wales will meet behind locked doors today to decide who will fill the vacancy following Dr Barry Morgan’s retirement.

fp

Joanna Penberthy was appointed Wales’ first woman bishop in January 2016.

The recently appointed Bishop of Llandaff, June Osborne, and the Bishop of St Davids, Joanna Penberthy, are in the running alongside the four other serving bishops of the Church in Wales.

The other candidates are the Bishop of Swansea & Brecon, John Davies, the Bishop of Bangor, Andy John, the Bishop of St Asaph, Gregory Cameron, and the Bishop of Monmouth, Richard Pain.

Although both woman are the most newly promoted bishops, the 42 electors across Wales may decide the appointment of the UK’s first female Anglican archbishop would be a welcome move after allegations of homophobia surrounded Jeffrey John’s rejection as bishop earlier this year.6 B

The six bishops make up the Bench of Bishops and represent the six dioceses of the Church in Wales

Made up of six people from each of Wales’ six diocese, plus the bishops themselves, the electoral college will be locked inside Holy Trinity Church in Llandrindod Wells for up to three days to debate and vote on their next leader. A two-thirds’ support needed for any candidate to become archbishop.

The doors of the church will only be opened once a two-thirds majority has been reached and a decision made. If after three days no one has won support from at least two-thirds of the electors, the decision falls to the bishops themselves to choose which one of them will become archbishop.

Muslim Man Who Beheaded Coworker Told Investigators: Allah ‘Wants Us to Get the Oppressors Out’

“You know the Muslim is somebody who submits their will to Allah … Whatever he wants done, that’s what we do,” Alton Nolen, now 33, told police in 2014. “And you know he wants us to get the oppressors out of this place.”

NORMAN, Okla. — A Muslim man from Oklahoma who beheaded his coworker three years ago after being suspended from the job told investigators that Allah “wants us to get the oppressors out,” as per recorded audio played during his trial on Wednesday.

He said that he acted out because he felt he was being treated differently by his coworkers because he is a follower of Islam. “I don’t feel regret, because you know what I’ve done,” Nolen stated. “That’s probably going to make Vaughan Foods a better place to work for a Muslim.”

In Sept. 2014, days following his suspension from Vaughan Foods over alleged comments about Caucasians, Nolen entered the front office, where he encountered Colleen Huffort and began attacking her with a knife.

“He did kill Colleen and did sever her head,” police spokesperson Jeremy Lewis stated in a press release following the incident.

Nolen then began attacking coworker Traci Johnson who caught the attention of others in the building with her screaming. One of those who heard Johnson’s cries for help was Chief Operating Officer Mark Vaughn, who also served as an Oklahoma county reserve deputy. Being armed at the time, he shot Nolen, saving Johnson’s life.

“This was not going to stop if he didn’t stop it,” Lewis remarked. “It could have gotten a lot worse.”

Others in the building locked themselves in their offices and called 911. Police arrived on the scene minutes later.

Nolen was hospitalized and was interviewed by police while in the hospital.

On Wednesday, Johnson was one of those who testified in court for the prosecution. She explained that she heard Huffort screaming like bloody murder and hurried to see what was wrong.

“When I saw the defendant, I was frozen,” she said. “I couldn’t move. And I saw the knife with the blood, … and he made a mad dash toward me and pushed me up against the wall and held me up with his forearm against the wall and just started splicing my neck.”

“He wouldn’t stop,” Johnson recalled. “He was just going back and forth like he was cutting a piece of meat.”  The trial is scheduled to resume on Monday, when the defense will be provided the opportunity to make their case. They believe Nolen should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

“It’s all in the context of what legally insane means. And that is [if Nolen] didn’t know the difference between right and wrong, and didn’t know the consequences of his actions,” Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn told News9. “And clearly he knew what he did was wrong.”

Reports state that Nolen has a criminal past as he was convicted in 2011 on drug charges and for assaulting a police officer. He spent two years behind bars for his crimes before being released on probation. His Facebook page also was stated to contain “provocative” content that is Islamic in nature and critical of the United States.

TEACHER MAKES KIDS RECITE GENDER NEUTRAL VERSION OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE: THIS PARENT DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT

“You teach what’s written. You don’t get to rewrite it and teach it how you feel you believe. — Elizabeth Vaillancourt

(Mesa, AZ) — Boys and girls at an Arizona elementary school were ordered by their teacher to recite a gender neutral version of the Declaration of Independence.

ABC15 News reports a fourth grade teacher at Salk Elementary School in Mesa crossed out the words “man” and substituted it with the word “human.”

Parent Elizabeth Vaillancourt was so outraged by the teacher’s desecration of the Declaration of Independence that she posted a picture of the altered document on her Facebook page.

I was hurt. I was mortified. I was disturbed at the fact that somebody is changing historical documents and nobody has the right to change our historical documents,” she told the television station.

School leadership told Vaillancourt that the Facebook posting “hurt the teacher’s feelings,” television station KGUN reported. (Photo Credit: Elizabeth Vaillancourt via Facebook)

Instead of dealing with a teacher forcing her political ideology on children, the school simply moved Vaillancourt’s daughter to another classroom.

“You teach what’s written. You don’t get to rewrite it and teach it how you feel you believe,” she said.

Mesa Public Schools later issued a statement admitting the teacher made a mistake by desecrating the Declaration of Independence.

“It should be recited as written, and not modified in any way. School administration, when learning of the alteration to the text, provided feedback and guidance to the teacher to restore the document to its original format,” the statement read.

Georgian Priest Guilty of Attempted Murder

Mamaladze viewed her as an obstacle to his career.

A court has found a Georgian priest guilty of trying to murder the personal secretary and adviser of Patriach, Ilia II, the head of the country’s Orthodox Church.

Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze has been sentenced to nine years in prison.

Giorgi Mamaladze was sentenced to nine years in prison yesterday, according to OC Media.  Mamaladze was arrested in February as he was about to travel to Berlin. According to the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office, sodium cyanide was concealed in his luggage. Early reports suggested Ilia, who was receiving medical treatment there, was his target. However, he was charged with attempting to murder the Patriarch’s secretary-referent, Shorena Tetruasvhili.

Mamaladze was charged with ‘plotting a murder with mercenary purposes’ after a journalist, Irakli Mamaladze, told the Prosecutor’s Office that Giorgi Mamaladze had asked for his help in obtaining cyanide. Hidden camera footage showed the archpriest asking the journalist: ‘Is it possible to get cyanide?’

The trial has been controversial, with Tbilisi-based rights group the Human Rights Centre objecting to the closure of the hearing to the public. Archbishop Petre Tsaava of the Chkondidi diocese accused Tetruasvhili of being an instrument of Russian influence in the Georgian Church and of controlling high-ranking officials there, according to Democracy and Freedom Watch. She has denied the claims. Prosecutors claimed Mamaladze viewed her as an obstacle to his career.
